10/1/09 – Wearing Many Hats: The Amazing Crew of Dolphin Quest Hawaii
One of the most interesting, and unknown, facts about Dolphin Quest Hawaii is that many of our Crew Members are cross-trained into different departments. Trainers also work in Guest Services. Guest Services Crew Members work in Productions. The Productions Crew works in Education. Education Crew Members work in Training. Even Administration Crew Members can be seen working with both guests and animals. This unique work environment allows our Crew to give guests sensational service across the board, because they have practical knowledge of the different departments.
So what does this mean to you, the guest? It means that you can ask just about any question on topics ranging from the number of dolphins we have to the pricing of photos or the merchandise in our store and anyone can help. Always wondered how dolphins sleep? Ask a Crew Member and they will have the answer. Even with something tricky, they know how to find out or whom to ask and if they can’t get back to you immediately, they are happy to e-mail or give you a call. As a guest, you can’t always be certain who works in one area so our solution is to make sure that everyone at Dolphin Quest Hawaii can assist you, whether you want to book a program or buy a T-shirt.
