New Dolphin Babies Need Names
Dolphin Quest Wants Your Help to Name Them!
Having recently announced the birth of three dolphin babies at the “Keep” within the National Museum of Bermuda, Dolphin Quest would now like help with the naming of the calves.
Caliban, Bailey and Ely all gave birth to healthy dolphin calves within 13 days of each other at the beginning of April. Bailey and Ely’s calves are girls and Caliban’s calf is a boy. Dolphin Quest is inviting everyone to submit names for the babies. As with all of the Dolphin Quest Bermuda dolphins, the calves will be named after a person, place or thing related to Bermuda.
Dolphin Quest invites everyone to come to the “Keep” and watch the three new babies play and swim with their moms. Everyone can drop off suggestions of dolphin baby names for consideration to the Dolphin Deck Gift Shop. Name suggestions can also be submitted on the Dolphin Quest Web site (the contest is now closed).
Winners will receive a photo of their newly-named dolphin and if in Bermuda will get to meet all of the dolphin calves and moms. Entries can be sumbitted until until June 30, 2010.
